FIANCEE Thai VISAS

In order to obtain a fianc?e visa a wedding in the UK may be booked at an Anglican Church but not at a registry office. Often a local registry office will offer a provisional booking and this is accepted by the Embassy.After your marriage in the UK form FLR(M) must be completed to allow your wife to start her two year probationary period and allow her to remain in the UK before the expiry of her fianc?e visa.After the two years is completed you can apply for ILR if you have knowledge of life in the UK.Please note that a fiancee is not allowed to use the National Health Service other than as a fee paying patient and if she is pregnant at the time of application you may well be asked to deposit a large amount of money with your local NHS trust before a visa will be granted. After you are married and her two year visa has been granted she is entitled to use the NHS for free if her husband is qualified to use it gratis

MARRIED PARTNER Thai VISAS

This visa is for people who are already married. If you have been married for over four years indefinite leave to remain in the UK may be granted, however you must pass the KOL requirement to gain ILR. In all other cases a probationary visa valid for two years from the date of issue will be given after which further leave to remain or indefinite leave to remain will need to be applied for in the UK

You marry in Thailand and  apply for a 2 year settlement visa which allows your Spouse to legally work on arrival in the UK once she has been issued with a national insurance number.

TUBERCULOSIS

Our Bangkok office advises applicants on this and can help book an appointment on their behalf if necessary

Use of Thai visa agents

There are a number of visa agents in operation throughout Thailand, prospective applicants may choose to use them in order to support or prepare their entry clearance application.It is important to note that these agents are in no way whatsoever connected to the Embassy. They have no influence over the outcome of an application. Our outsource partner, VFS Global, operates from the UK Visa Application Centre. Their staff are clearly identifiable by their uniform.

Any decision to utilise the service of an agent is entirely at the applicants discretion.

The VAC staff are required to perform checks to ensure that your application is  completed.

Your application will only be accepted at the Visa Application Centre if you can:
present a signed, dated Visa Application Form (VAF);
provide the required photographs;
provide passports (or other travel documents where specified by UKBA):
- for all persons included in the VAF;
- which correspond to data in the VAF (name, passport number, expiry date);
- which have not expired;
- which have at least one page free in the visa pages for the insertion of a vignette,
pay the published visa fee; and,
have your biometrics data recorded.
The VAC staff may highlight common mistakes or missing information out to you, and allow you to amend the application(s) if you wish, but the VAC staff must accept your application(s ) if you wish to proceed
